Objectives

EnviBrain focuses on three research objectives (ROs), each associated with one working package (WP).

• Characterize the chemical exposome of tumor samples of a cohort of adults from Barcelona with diffuse gliomas (n=200) using ultimate HRMS-based techniques (WP1)
• Unveil the chemical universe of air ultrafine particles (UFPs) in Barcelona and evaluate the presence of the detected chemicals in brain samples (WP2)
• Explore the overall chemical exposure in different zones of the Barcelona metropolitan area and investigate potential exposure-diffuse gliomas associations (WP3)
